Welcome to Ros Cole Farms
Sustainable Farming for a Developing Community

-
When did you start farming in the Philippines? We bought a farm in 2022 and at the same time started construction on our home.
-
What do you have on your farm? When we bought the farm we need to do land preparation. We cleared nearly 1 hectare of land to plant 800 calamansi trees. In addition, we planted 1 hectare of rice. We also have a piggery with 5-6 sows and produce between 50-85 fatteners per year.
-
How many people work on the farm? How can I apply? At any given time our team consists of 7-10 people. Some people assist with farm maintenance and crops while others care for the broilers and pigs. Send us a message if you're interested in joining the family.
-
What is your goal with the farm? Our first priority is "People". Our goal is to provide steady employment for the community. Our second goal is to help ensure the community has enough food. We do this through producing more than 100,000 chickens a year. The last goal is to give back to the community. We do this by sponsoring events, supporting our local churches, and making donations through various channels.
-
Why Palawan? It's simple really. WE chose Palawan to be close to our family and to enjoy the peace and quiet. We have been coming to Palawan for many years and personally we fell in love with not only Palawan, but the people too!

In farming hard work? The quick answer is......YES! Farming is not an easy job and there are many lessons to learn, especially when it is the first time you have ever tried it. BUT... it is extremely rewarding to see your efforts pay off and to enjoy the journey.
